History of King's Highway 24B:

The Orangeville Business Route was created when Orangeville was bypassed by a new highway in the 1970s. Two Business Routes were created for Highway 10 and Highway 24, which had been rerouted onto the new bypass. The Business Route was designated as Highway 10B and Highway 24B and both highways ran concurrently for their entire length (via Broadway and First Avenue). It also resulted in a three-route multiplex along Broadway, as this was also the route for Highway 9 through Orangeville. The Highway 10B and Highway 24B Business Loops were both decommissioned in the early 1970s, but the exact dates of these routes' existence is not known. Any additional information about these two highways would definitely be appreciated.
