The actual existence of King's Highway 72A has not yet been confirmed. A historical reference has been found recently that suggests that the Patricia to
Hudson portion of Highway 72 may have actually been signed as Highway 72A before being redesignated as Highway 116 in 1954. If anyone can confirm how the
Patricia-Hudson Highway was actually signed prior to 1954, it would be greatly appreciated. Until further information comes to light, it will be assumed
