History of King's Highway 12B (Gamebridge):

This Business Loop was created when the Gamebridge Bypass opened to traffic in August, 1961. The old alignment of Highway 12 through Gamebridge became Highway 12B. The highway was 1.9 km in length. The route survived until April 1, 1967, when the route was formally decommissioned. Four other Highway 12B Business Routes have existed over the years in Port McNicoll, Orillia, Coldwater and Victoria Harbour.
