The King's Highway 131 (#1):

King's Highway 131 was a temporary designation assigned to the Harbour Expressway in Thunder Bay during its construction in the 1970s. The highway ran from Highway 11 & Highway 17 easterly into the port district, where it ended at Highway 11B and Highway 17B. The route was completed in 1979, and was later transferred to the City of Thunder Bay on June 26, 1981. While this route was officially known as Highway 131, it is quite possible that this was in fact an unposted, secret route number. A different, unrelated Highway 131 existed in Barrie between 1984 and 1998.
