History of Secondary Highway 650:
Secondary Highway 650 is a minor collector highway that serves as an access road from Highway 112 to Dane and Adams Mine, located south of Kirkland Lake. The highway
was first assumed by the Ontario Department of Highways on April 1, 1964. Highway 650 is paved for its entire length, although some of the eastern sections of the
highway near Adams Mine are badly frost-heaved. Unless posted otherwise, the speed limit on Highway 650 is 80 km/h (50 mph). There are no services available on this
highway.
