Historical King's Highway 7B (Thornhill) Photographs

HWY 7 #142

Above - Aerial view of the new Hwy 7 Diversion east of Concord in 1988. During the 1980s, most of Hwy 7 between Centre Street (Former Hwy 7B) and Bayview Avenue was reconstructed as a limited-access expressway. Noticeably absent from this photo is Hwy 407, which was not constructed until the mid-1990s. Note the old Hwy 7 alignment located between Centre Street and the relocated Hwy 7.
