Right - Facing north along Former Hwy 133 (Lennox & Addington Road 4) from the Hwy 2 Junction. When Hwy 133 was first built by the Department of Highways of Ontario (DHO) in the mid-1960s, most of the highway has a rigid (concrete) pavement surface. The original concrete pavement has survived to this day, more than 50 years after it was built. See an Enlarged Photo Here.

Right - Facing south along Former Hwy 133 (now Lennox & Addington Road 4) from the Hwy 401 Interchange. Up until 1997, this short provincial highway connected Hwy 401 to Hwy 2 and Hwy 33 west of Odessa. As part of the general review of provincial services during the 1990s, it was determined that Hwy 133 served mostly a local purpose, and no longer carried out a provincial function. As a result, Hwy 133 was downloaded to the County of Lennox & Addington in 1997. The former highway is now known as Lennox & Addington Road 4. See an Enlarged Photo Here.

Right - On and on it goes. Fortunately, rural traffic jams such as this are fairly uncommon on Hwy 401. This photo shows Hwy 401 from the Former Hwy 133 (now Lennox & Addington Road 4) Overpass, facing west towards Belleville. See an Enlarged Photo Here.
