Historical Secondary Highway 507 Photographs

HWY 507 #1

Above - Aerial view of the new Trent-Severn Waterway crossing on Hwy 507 at Buckhorn in 1977, facing north. These new high-level bridges bypassed the old highway at left, which crossed the Buckhorn Dam and a low-level swing bridge at the Trent-Severn Waterway Lock. The high-level crossing at Buckhorn was completed in the Fall of 1976, eliminating the very last provincial highway bottleneck at a Trent-Severn Waterway Lock. See an Enlarged Photo Here.
