Left - Facing south along the former Hwy 11 alignment at Hwy 654. The old Hwy 11 alignment ahead causes problems for some motorists, who reach the end of Hwy 94
and mistakenly think that they can proceed down the old highway to get back to Hwy 11. A green guide sign at the junction directs through traffic to turn
left to access the Hwy 11 Freeway from Hwy 654.

Above - Junction assembly at Hwy 94 and Hwy 654 near Callander. This is an uncommon situation where a King's Highway actually begins at a
Secondary Highway.

Right - View of the Callander Bay Lookout and roadside park on Hwy 94. The scenic lookout was an extremely popular stopping place for Hwy 11
motorists for nearly five decades. Unfortunately, access to the park from the new Hwy 11 Freeway is somewhat complicated, so the park does not see as
much traffic as it did before the old highway through Callander was bypassed.

Left - Facing east along Hwy 94 in Callander. This junction used to be the western terminus of Hwy 94 until 1987. After the Callander Bypass was
completed, Hwy 94 assumed the southern portion of the former Hwy 11 alignment. Originally, Hwy 11 continued straight through at this intersection on its
way to North Bay.

Left - This newly-reconstructed portion of Hwy 94 features brand new cable and cedar post guide rails. This roadside shoulder treatment is becoming
somewhat less common on highways today, as highways are often reconstructed with steel guide rails which offer much greater resistance in the event
of a collision.
