Left - Facing south along the future Hwy 410 Extension from the Kennedy Road Overpass. This section of the new freeway has not yet been graded, but
the chain link fences marking the highway right-of-way boundaries and the centreline survey stakes are in place. See an

This overpass is rather unusual because the overpass deck was built roughly at the original ground level. This was done to minimize impacts to adjacent properties and to reduce the length and cost of the nearby Etobicoke Creek Bridge. The freeway lanes will approach the Kennedy Road Overpass from the south through a large earth cut. The excavation of the south approach had not yet commenced when this photo was taken.
