Left - Overhead signs affixed to the King Street structure. Originally, Hwy 85 followed King Street through Waterloo. The oversized sign marking "King Street - Waterloo" may seem somewhat redundant now, but in the early 1970s, the sign served as an important reminder to drivers that Hwy 85 was re-routed onto the Conestoga Parkway and no longer followed King Street through downtown.
