Page 6: Present Day King's Highway 2 Photographs (Windsor to Tilbury)
Left - Before 1970, the western terminus of Hwy 2 was at Hwy 98 in Windsor. The Department of Highways constructed a massive curved diversion in
the 1930s to direct Windsor-bound traffic from Hwy 2 onto Hwy 98. This diversion can be seen at right, and it joins Division Road (Old Hwy 2) to Hwy 98
(Division Rd & Provincial Rd). The corner diversion is about 500 meters long. At one time, it carried two-way traffic.
