Welcome to the King's Highway 427 Photograph Index Page! This directory will allow you to access over 100 historical and present day photographs of Ontario's King's
Highway 427, and its historical predecessor routes: King's Highway 27 and the Airport Expressway. Highway 427 was created in 1972, when a section of Highway 27
through Toronto was redesignated as Highway 427 following a major reconstruction project. The existing Airport Expressway from Highway 401 to Toronto International
Airport was absorbed into the route of Highway 427 in 1981, when the freeway was extended north beyond the airport. Looking for a different highway? Please return to the main
Photograph Index Page if you are looking for photos of any other Ontario highway.
Search Tip: Due to the number of Highway 427 photos available, they have been subdivided onto several different pages. Historical photos of Highway 427 from
the 1940s up until the 1990s are organized chronologically, while present day photos are organized by location from Toronto to Woodbridge (south to north). Please
select a link on the page below to further refine your Highway 427 photograph search. Enjoy!
